Hmmm. Seven random facts:
1. I’ve got a wide independent streak that has both helped and hindered me my whole life
2. I’ve got a naughty sense of humor much like an adolescent boy
3. I love hanging around people that can get down with a seedy bar and can sip champagne at the Carlyle
4. I have very silvery grey hair that I am extremely conflicted about. I dye it but do not want to, yet lack the balls to stop doing it.
5. I am a wannabe Buddhist.
6. I am a new step mom to two grown kids. Other than that, I’m apparently sub-fertile, a term I use to avoid the horrid word “barren”
7. Since I’m sub-fertile, I get to throw back the margaritas on Friday nights with the man in my life who I adore to pieces The K Man
Now I’m supposed to tag 7 folks but instead I’m just going to throw it out there….if you want to play along, well heck, don’t wait! Just jump right in and let me know that you did in my comments section!
Ugh. I’ve never been able to pull this one off….lol!
i so relate to being drawn to both the dives and the posh places, as well as the people who can pull them off. i’m not sure i can pull off the posh, but i like to pretend once in a while.
and i hear you about the gray! i just can’t do it yet but oh how i admire those who do. with the right cut and style, it can look fabulous. i’m just so chicken.
Hello, Angst–
I like the method you took of tagging other people–the open method: Play if you want. Good idea. I’m not at all fond of these games, but hesitate to seem uncooperative, because in the past it has always been friends–at least blogging friends–who tagged me.
I don’t drink, so I can’t totally relate to your number 3 revelation, but in one sense I can: I love going with people to “hole-in-the-wall” restaurants (especially Mexican ones) and I can hang out for hours in a place like the Carlyle.
Wish you well.
